The dog in Spellbyte shares the cat's rig. Its floppy ears hang from the same ear pivots that hold the cat's pointed ones, so the test that keeps ears off the shoulders checks them too. #BevyEngine #GameDev #VoxelArt #furry

We 100% need more licensed/open source engines tbh. Capcom's REX Engine and RedEngine are great to make mods for. Godot and Flax Engine have nice console support. Didnt try bevy engine yet and Source 2 being tied to "s&box" sucks.

I'm testing more seeds in Spellbyte's map generator. The mountain ranges give each island a different skyline. Still checking how the wooded valleys sit between them. #Bevy #GameDev #VoxelArt

My exploration into Entity-Component-Systems (again), by porting our old iPhone game to current day #Bevy. Lots of learning about Rust and Bevy practices for me here. It's interesting how 4 huge classes, from the original, are getting split to more than a hundred small systems. #gamedev #indiedev

I've been working on the cat character creator in Spellbyte. I'm spending suspiciously long choosing fur colors for a game dev task. #BevyEngine #GameDev #VoxelArt
