Can’t wait to get these guys paired up on the blue line for UMass in 2044

Compilation of what I saw from yesterday's exhibition vs Rhody umasshoops.com/wiki/doku.ph... Howard Herman at the Berkshire Eagle said media was asked not to publish the final box score. Weird, as it wasn't a closed-door scrimmage, but whatever, it didn't count anyway.

Freshman Aeden McCarthy will start. The staff has been very enthusiastic about McCarthy, so it should be interesting to watch him play. I don't know how comfortable he is in the scheme yet, but they threw him into the FCS games late for some garbage time run. Go UMass!

SLU looked much better playing a Big Ten team on Friday than it did playing itself on Sunday. The gamer, with reaction from Schertz and Thames. www.stltoday.com/sports/c….

News digested and my enthusiasm has actually not tanked. I think the UMass defense is good, despite how they looked last week, and we have some legit WR's. Need the lines, RBs and ST to hold serve and we'll see how it goes. It'll be tough, but Miami is on their 3rd string QB. We're not dead yet.

I'm obviously bummed for him and UMass in general, but this is the first football game I'm going to be attending in YEARS and my enthusiasm for the game just tanked. Should still be a great fall day in Amherst. Hoping it's nothing major for Pop and he can get back at it soon.

so apparently Pop Watson broke his foot and is out for the foreseeable future and hockey has yet to win a game. UMass is so back.

SLU leads 69-64, 3:41 to go. Kerr only starter still on court for either team, so these last few minutes may not be indicative of much.

UMass hockey with a buzzer beater. Insane.

SLU up 53-48 with 14:39 to go. 12-4 run, with 3s by McCottry, Kerr. SLU has scored on 5 straight possessions. Thames started 2nd half instead of Jones
