Mega Drive games on floppy disk? Productivity, artwork, game expansions, and DLC when combined with the Mega Modem? Just a few potential uses of the unreleased Sega Mega Drive Floppy Disk Drive. Showcased in 1989, it would have been a Sony-Sega co-pro and used proprietary 2" floppies.
A magazine scan close up photo of the sidecar FDD that slotted into the expansion port in the right of the MD. It has the same cyberpunk aesthetic as the console itself
Another magazine scan photo of the FDD from the side, showing the boxy shape with grill panels like the MD and FDD in yellow text

Every week we let Backstage Pass supporters vote to choose which new show we create or continue for New Show Plus, here are your options this week... - SEGA Dreamcast Welcome Tour - The Leo//Win Show - The MinnMax Moon Mission - Episode 3 - RC Car Pro-Am www.patreon.com/posts/156….
SEGA Dreamcast Welcome Tour - Now that she's the world's #1 Shenmue Sicko, it's time to introduce Sarah Podzorski to the SEGA Dreamcast. Jeff Cork would join Sarah in the MinnMax Studio to have her play the console for the first time. IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to challenging schedules, we cannot guarantee this episode would drop by Wednesday and would most likely appear at a later point down the road.
The Leo//Win Show - Since Leo Vader and Kelsey Lewin were the only two NOT to appear on The MinnMax Show episode last week, they'd launch their own podcast called The Leo//Win Show (credit to Sarah) where they'd make things right with the universe. This show would also be available in the bonus podcast feed for Patreon supporters.
The MinnMax Moon Mission - Episode 3 - Leo Vader's cosmic voyage continues in the third episode. Will he finally crash land down on Earth? Is he stuck in the stars forever? Vote to see the follow-up from last week's episode!
RC Car Pro-Am - JeffM and Ben will take two beefy RC cars out in the wild and go over sick jumps on a BMX track here in Minneapolis. This will not be streamed and will drop as a pre-recorded video on Wednesday.

Executive Summary:
Internal documents reveal that Microsoft plans to temporarily suspend individual account signups to Github Copilot, as it transitions from requests (single interactions with Copilot) towards token-based billing.
The documents reveal that the weekly cost of running Github Copilot has doubled since the start of the year.
Microsoft also intends to reduce the rate limits on its individual and business accounts, and to remove access to certain models for those with the cheapest subscriptions.

Meta is set to overtake Google on digital ad revenue -- largely thanks to smart AI content recommendations. But my @opinion.bloomberg.com column today argues this the last hurrah of Meta's Web 2.0 legacy business -- not a sign of strength for the AI era.

A typical modern nuclear reactor produces roughly 1 gigawatt and that output is generally enough to power a midsize city. So 100GW, not much need for oil. So yeah, that's a lot.
