I don't know that I can put into words how frustrating it is that bad-faith actors take completely normal, appropriate responses to vaccines and attempt to pathologize them as something bad. Vaccines are supposed to be immunogenic. S Antibodies are mechanistic correlates of protection in COVID-19.

Mary this is literally how vaccines are supposed to work.

A tweet from yesterday from Mary Talley Bowden.

I’m seeing a pattern in my clinic that we can't ignore. Antibody levels in patients who received the shots are testing 10 times higher than those who didn't. Here is why that spike protein load matters.

How do vaccine skeptic handle seatbelts? They ignore the fact that seatbelts are less effective than vaccines. They obfuscate that not wearing a seatbelt doesn’t hurt other people (a false assertion).

Measles elimination isn’t a trophy you win once. It’s a condition you maintain. The Lancet: 2,280 US cases in 2025 + 910 more in the first 6 weeks of 2026. Vaccines work. www.thelancet.com/journal…
Bar chart titled 'USA measles resurgence: 2025 vs first 6 weeks of 2026'. Bars show 2,280 confirmed measles cases in 2025 and 910 confirmed cases in the first 6 weeks of 2026. Text box cites Lancet Correspondence (May 2026), Rt on Feb 16, 2026: 0.60 (95% CI 0.51–0.70), and that the outbreak spread to 45 states. Source URL is shown at the bottom.

Topol is skeptical of the anti-aging industry. Whether it's cold plunges, "protein maxxing" or experimental peptides, the marketplace is growing faster than evidence can keep up. Specious claims about unregulated products, he says, are "just completely out of control." www.npr.org/2026/05/01/n...

Weirdly I think Biden did neither well nor poorly on Covid. He inherited a country that was mostly masking/distancing but already growing restive, supervised an orderly vaccination rollout, supported public health, and led a decent economic recovery.

No. Biden (Jan 2021 to Jan 2025) did not do well on COVID. He did well on *pretending* it was gone. To be fair, he was in good international company. But he deserves no credit. The image below is US COVID infections to Apr 24, 2026 as modelled from wastewater data, by @jpweiland.bsky.social.

Took the pets to the vet today; vaccines and annual exam. Felt a little bad politely (but repeatedly) declining everything else, and wanted to tell them “I decline all the unnecessary stuff for myself too” No, we are not getting the wellness screening labs 🙄🙄🙄

The CDC's shift to an uncertainty-based approach when conveying the scientific evidence on vaccines and autism could already be increasing vaccine hesitancy and strengthening agreement with science-denial strategies. www.medpagetoday.com/infe…

Trump’s new nominee for surgeon general, Dr. Nicole Saphier, has long been critical of RFK Jr.'s anti-vaccine work, including "Plandemic," the viral anti-vaccine film Kennedy financed. In her book, Saphier called it a "video full of hoax theories."
