Over the past month, New York has welcomed the world.
From neighborhood watch parties to the stadium, we’ve celebrated the communities that make our city the global capital of the beautiful game.
Today, we close out a historic World Cup, proud of how New Yorkers showed up every step of the way.
A lot of people don’t realize the dust bowl wasn’t a natural phenomenon. It happened when agrobusiness interests dramatically transformed the plains without regard for drought, and created vicious dust storms that choked whole families to death. Spain’s Nico Williams gave his mother, Maria, his World Cup winner’s medal after Sunday’s final ❤️💛
Nico's parents trekked some 2,000 miles across the Sahara from Ghana to Spain as refugees. Now, their son is a world champion 🥹
Our old lady, Misty, laid down in the sunshine for a nap and peacefully passed away today.
She’s been with our family for almost 12 years and this was not completely unexpected. We were making plans and Misty took matters into her own paws.
She will be missed.
