Part of the reason I live that virtual "VDI" life is I am legit too damned lazy to dual boot so I just shut down Windows 11 Enterprise "my-desktop" and power up the obviously Ubuntu "ooboontwo." Parsec can't host off my Ubuntu VM like Horizon could, but really all I really need is vscode + SSH.

been trying to get into using vscode a bit more, and had some of the keyboard shortcuts interfere with each other.
took me a bit to figure it out, but in case anyone else is having issues with it, go to File > Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts menu

Nice article mate! Looks great. This would be awesome to use the versioning as a private ACR version stamp as well. even then these can be consumed by internal teams using the versioning intellisense from bicep extension in vscode💪

about 20 hours agobtw - neovim, emacs, vim should be with the ides / editors, rather than with terminals... it makes the most sense to compare them with something like vscode, rather than with iterm or ghostty.

This was a really good idea. Now I have a SQL database that I can connect to at any time (from my home network), and I can make queries from vscode. This streamlines the workflow so much. I'm already enjoying using the database so much more than when I was doing everything in a terminal.

「俺がルールを整備するからその通りにやってね。めっちゃ使いやすいエディターも用意したから」
なるほど。使いこなすのを簡単にするという方向性か。確かにルール整備が結構重要やけど、そこは現状各自だからこういうのもありかも。
でもモデル開発してないからcursorやwindsurfみたいにanthropicに急に切られるかもしれないからなぁ。あとvscodeの拡張として出して欲しかったな。

I am sort of feeling like I have been assaulted. ....
I now have gradle installing, and a vscode for Gradle for Java, a load of changes to default settings I have never needed to even look at. All becuase of an odd error in a new build project.
