This is Nicky & Nora. They are utterly ridiculous, and also the best. Nora has always slept like a toddler. Ten years later she’s still the troublemaker. Her sister Nicky’s claim to fame is no object permanence. She’ll play with a bug, eat it, and look for it. Apex predators they are not 🐈🐈

Concept art piece. A large orb of blood hovers above the dias in the center of a ruined circular room. Broken stone tablets and iron chains litter the ground around the dias. The room is lit by a couple of wall mounted torches crafted in the shape of some horned horror. The blood orb radiates a dim red light, and the spiked humanoid form of the blood god is barely visible inside.
Character reference for P'traltis, love interest of the Song of the Devilstorm's main character in book 2. She is an Ascenris, centaur type creature based on a panther instead of a horse. Minimized feline features in torso and head, though still has a short snout, fangs, ears, and toe beans on all six limbs. Hands are humanoid/cat hybrid, four mobility limbs are more aligned with true panthers. She has flowing red hair against her coal black fur, which also has a skin pattern akin to panthers that can be seen with infrared light. Brilliant amber eyes with flecks of blue/teal. The quad reference shows her in different clothing, from formal dress, cargo setup, casual work, and full plate armor.
Zar the smith is a serpent species Qual Dispal. Large creatures, bulky, but can slither-sprint at high speed. No hands but can still do most normal tasks on account of their six tentacles. Two large eyes. No legs. Tentacle arms attach down ribs on the back, but arch forward from the base. Thick foot long neck above top tentacle shoulder. Multiple hearts. Head crested with small horns, back of neck and torso lined single file small horns. Individual muscle groups per tentacle, spread out and attached to frame to large vertebra. Tough scales on dorsal skin, ridged softer plates underside (for movement and sensory). Underbelly chest might resemble what a crab looks like with its six bulges for joins. Reptilian head, short articulated snout (allows for speech with clear limitations on some pronunciations), smells with tongue (no nostrils), breaths through mouth, no teeth (food source usually softened by being crushed and swallowed whole, liquids, or waterlogged to tenderness). History of the species seems to point more towards an aquatic scavenger behavior.
This is a general map for the city of Alabandrin, primary area in at least the first two books of my Song of the Devilstorm series. It sits in a valley between two mountain chains. It is constructed as a circle amphitheater with a 3% grade down to the center, which is raised 150 feet. In each cardinal direction, a highway stretches out from the central raised area to the edges of the city. Each of the 25 rings of roads are 200 feet across. There is a lazy river under the city, fed by surrounding rivers, which is publically accessible for entertainment and romantic events. East region outside the city is a large lake with access to the ocean. There is a tunnel under the southeast mountain range that allows for boat travel to the ocean, guarded by one of the six castles at each entrance. Roads extend out from all four main exits of the city, but the eastern road is a bridge that extends over the lake to the nearest landmass off of this map.
