Back of my head I was worried that this might come out of SB79, but I hoped I was just being pessimistic. My gut feeling about ridiculous NIMBY city level politics was right. (I still support SB79, of course, anti-transit & anti-housing politics go hand-in-hand so BRT opposition was inevitable)

To achieve affordable housing takes political will. Developers don't get out of bed for less than 20% profit on high-rises. Create a public not-for-profit and it will be competition.

They're currently working but don't get many hours right now at their job so they've been in between finding more steady work.

I think mine was Commando. The only time my older brother “baby sat” me. I wouldn’t have been older than ten. A couple of years later my mum would just let me rent anything at Flicks (video rental). House, The Gate … the start of my fondness for horror.
