nothing is sadder than the dog whose morning walk has been delayed due to rain

Jezebel the heeler pittie chowchow mix dog laying on the edge of the bed with her paws and face almost dangling off the side. She looks down at the ground sadly. if you could hear this picture it would sound like a sigh.

Taken on my morning walk home through town after dropping my car off for repairs. I love this house! It is both charming and moody. It has a little bit of "Haunting of Hill House" appeal and looks like the perfect setting for a ghost story or mystery. 👻

Good morning, bsky! Maya woke me with a nightmare so we took a walk and both girls (and their little twerp brother) got extra goodies with breakfast.

Maya is a white pitbull (who looks awfully staffy to me) she joined our family when her first family was forced to let her go due to joining the military, and she’s been with us for 5 out of her 7.5 years. She’s very good at sitting still for photos, except her tail, which almost never stops moving.

She is my sweet Velcro baby
