whenever i think "wait this post doesnt show anything about the actual game" i just cram our trailer in somewhere at 10x speed. it works and it makes me laugh, so maybe it's good?

I:
1) ran mkvtoolnix to split up some blu ray files
2) have 15 game footage files reencoding with handbrake
3) updated nas firmware, Windows permissions, and network drive settings
4) deleted several big files from my "to sort" folder and sorted some others
5) transferred files to the right machine

One thing ive always loved about monster hunter is that beyond being a really good game about fighting cool bosses, its a series built upon a sheer love of nature.
The bosses you fight aren't just big monsters. They are wild animals with their own lives and needs.

Ok, after about a dozen revisions I think I have enough of a rough-draft design to start modelling in Blender and refining.
Took me a while to give up on the idea that it's got a big spider-like abdomen, so that the "from the rear" view that you mostly see in-game has a more interesting silhouette.
