I'm tired of IP. I'm now less likely to watch stuff that has an IP connection than I would be to watch the exact same stuff if it were original. A new horror series about Linda Cardellini going crazy at a summer camp in the 1970s? Awesome. Sign me up. A FRIDAY THE 13th prequel series? Meh.

Story time. I once worked for a CDN manufacturer that used process manufacturing, monitored by network connected PLCs, "Programmable Logic Controllers" Before "networks" became standardized, Allen-Bradley had a proprietary "network" for PLCs designed in the late 1970s, called "Data Highway"
