I stayed on the Shrimp Nebula, Sh2-188, instead of a new target. I added 16 hours to the 14 hours of the image I posted 5 days ago. It's bubble shape and delicate tendrils are more apparent. It looks like a nudibranch the way I balanced and saturated the SHO palette. Details in ALT #astrophotography
a colorful crescent shaped nebula with a faint arc completing a ring set in a field of stars. Taken with a Takahashi TSA 120 and ZWO ASI2600MM camera. The best 1800, 60s exposures taken through SHO filters were stacked and processed with Astro Pixel Processor, Starnet++, and Photoshop. The stars were imaged with 180, 15s exposures through RGB filters.

NGC 7822 between Cepheus and Cassiopeia. The annotated image highlights many of the other dark nebula and star forming regions contained within. #astronomy #astrophotography

Garlic (A.K.A Medulla) Nebula (CTB 1, Abell 85) was first thought to be a planetary nebula but was later found to be a supernova remnant. It is very faint and I collected several nights worth of data to image it. Total Exp: 31.75 hrs, 10/3-9 2026 Ha reds, Oiii blues #astronomy #astrophotography
