Yes. But first, we need to overturn the arguments against migration. Until we deal with that, this country is doomed to drift and fail.

Of course the easiest way to grow the economy, also by the most, is to drop the Brexit red lines and join at least the SM. This will then bring in the money needed to bring more essential services back into public control, which according to Burnham will grow the economy even more.

Saarbrücken is a nice little German city right at the French border (2 hours to Paris by train). It has a good and growing philosophy department with lovely colleagues on a – as you can see – beautiful, green campus. We are a small community, but with an open, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere.

Musée des Plans-Reliefs was as good as I expected. Also fairly astonishing display of early alpine cartography around the French-Savoie border. #OldMaps
A 1:600 scale 3-D model of Mont St Michel in the Musée des Plans-Reliefs, Les Invalides. The view captured shows the island from the South. The gothic choir of the monastic church is particularly apparent at top right of the model. The model was made by a monk towards the end of the 18th century. It was donated to the king 10 years later, and became part of the Plans-Reliefs collection.
