The presumption (not unreasonable given it is one of the routes to nomination) is that the field of Presidential candidates should be assembled by political parties.
Anyone putting themselves forward as an independent is immediately dawbed with the indelible 'crackpot' sign.

When it comes to it, having a President that calls out war & imperialism, even when it's not appropriate for govs to do it, is something worth having imo.
Maybe that's a vital role that the Presidency has, to be above the machinations of foreign policy & preserve those principles for us.

For people getting annoyed by this, Michael D holds similar views, so if they support him and not her, not sure what to say! I don't agree with everything she says on foreign policy but I'd vote for her any day to safeguard the Constitution over any of the alternatives being bandied about. #Aras25
