History in the making! 🚀 Watching the Artemis II launch from my own neighborhood was surreal. A massive streak of human ambition carving through the Florida sky as we head back to the Moon. Proud to share this shot of our next giant leap! #Artemis #ArtemisII #NASA #Space

Celebrating the Artemis II launch today from China.

#NASA #ArtemisII About 4 min from the ICPS Sep Burn, you can see the solar array here in a swept-up position, thats to protect it from any loads during the burn.

watching NASA's feed, the "Live Views from Orion" one, and someone (presumably inadvertently) flipped off the camera for about 10 seconds. Possibly Commander Wiseman? Right seat on top. Just thought it was funny. #ArtemisII

I’ve seen a number of cynical takes on the Artemis II mission. And I’m certainly cynical myself about many things. But perhaps for those of us old enough to remember Apollo, it’s also hard to avoid nostalgia. I was reliving a significant part of my childhood, glued to a screen for the entire […]

I loved reading the posts on this thread. I watched Artemis II and avoided the "address" like several here.

Local news people are all making jokes about Florida being the only state with direct flights to the Moon, and people are getting mad in the comment sections because Artemis 2 isn't landing

It makes sense when I think about it, but reading the Artemis II wiki article I was shocked to see that the only ppl to ever travel farther than low Earth orbit before were all white American men.

We're still tracking #Artemis II with the Dwingeloo radio telescope, with four very enthousiastic amateurs staying up all night in the control room. We just witnessed the Orion upper stage separation burn in our doppler tracking.
Graph with time on x axis, frequency on y axis. A distinct change in frequency is seen around 03:25 UTC, indicating a burn.
