At this point, I am convinced that opinions like "Reddit is overwhelmingly left-leaning" are being pushed by reactionary groups and far-right government agencies online.

Another interesting thing I learned from Reddit today is that US folks find beans on toast repulsive because their beans have 3x the sugar of UK beans, and their bread has sugar added, so the result is like eating a dessert of beans and bread.

This is what standardised testing is doing to kids. This was marked wrong bc the teacher knew that the tests demanded the specific responses "impossible" and "equally likely". So this kids' more advanced understanding was punished. (from reddit)

I know Reddit is a cesspool, but even so, it's incredibly angering to see people on the Minneapolis subreddit use the unhoused encampment mass shooting(s) that just happened as a chance to further dehumanize unhoused people. We're talking about incredibly vulnerable human beings. Show some empathy!
