Georgia statewide Republicans candidates are elated that Keisha Lance Bottoms is the Democratic nominee, but if they're smart, they'll move away from Donald Trump too.

It’s official, I’m proud to stand before you as your Democratic nominee in the U.S Senate race for Kentucky. This is a declaration of regular people from forgotten places who feel like the government has turned away from them.

It’s Governor Josh Shapiro. I’m a dad, a husband, the son of a pediatrician and a teacher. Now, I’m the official Democratic nominee in my reelection campaign for the Governor of Pennsylvania.

Yesterday and earlier in the week: 1. Line for Disney pop-up at Ross Park Mall. 2. Routine dental appt for which I still have to take a Valium. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 3. Gonna run out of room for stickers. Not a bad problem to have. 4. Election day is done!

The alliance has echoes of Ossoff’s 2021 tandem with Raphael Warnock. But this time is different: Ossoff is running federal, Bottoms is running statewide, both have records to defend, and both are trying to restitch a coalition reshaped by Trump. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

I sent in my mail-in ballot today! Although I am a Porter supporter, I decided to be in my Becerra era instead. Seeing as Xavier Becerra is ahead in the polls, I voted for him to prevent a Republican lockout. I hope you will consider doing the same in order to keep California blue. 🌊🗳️

Jon Ossoff is making two big bets in his reelection campaign: Run harder against Donald Trump in a state Trump carried in 2024. And lock arms early with Keisha Lance Bottoms to show Democrats are unified while Republicans slog through costly runoffs. #gapol www.ajc.com/politics/202...

Nothing to be scared about. Tried it in the primary for first time on May 19. The poll workers were good people. The voters were all cordial and happy to vote. Will do it again in November. It is a long day but worth it.

measure 120 lost because it did particularly poorly in large urban counties, with kotek running more than 40 points ahead of it in washco and multco when you add up all the votes cast for governor across the D + R primaries
map of measure 120's performance compared to tina kotek, with going running far ahead of it in urban northwest counties
scatterplot comparing county results for kotek vs measure 120, with M120 doing consistently worse than kotek

A change in how mail is postmarked could lead some voters to miss key deadlines, including voter registration. Advocates worry the people most affected will be those already facing voting barriers.
