over the past week i've watched a friend progressively get more and more hyped about finally watching she-ra, so i guess i should watch that too???? she went from "these animated lesbians got me feeling feelings" to minutes-long voice notes screaming about the universe-saving power of homosexuality.

Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.
