🎄We had so much fun at @greenbeltfestival.bsky.social this year inviting people to join We Are United: Together At Christmas — a campaign aiming to host 1,000 community meals this Christmas to build inclusion in the face of growing division.  Get involved here: peopleunite.org.uk/

Here is a still of my friend at Greenbelt Festival, taken from a video I made. Based on my experience of people older than me when I was younger, I assumed that my late 40s/early 50s would mean having to be very sensible. I'm so pleased to have been proven wrong.
A picture of a white woman dancing in a camping field. Her red hair is flying about as she dances, and she is wearing a T shirt and blue jeans.

Caught you at @greenbeltfestival.bsky.social ...(one advantage of running the Festival Wellbeing Team). I wanted to say a heartfelt "thank you". I left so uplifted that - I think for the 1st time ever - I was able to admit I may actually like myself (tonnes of caveats, but progress!)

Hugs. Listening to Grace Petrie sing Pride at #GB26 and hating the fact that it's no longer just the North Carolina bathroom Act...

And just like that...we were gone. Greenbelters you were utterly brilliant leaving yesterday, thank you. We arrived 12 years ago at Boughton and now we're off, and the only trace we've left is the red oak tree we planted on Sunday. #LeaveNoTrace

La experiencia de voluntariado en Greenbelt Festival muestra cómo los festivales pueden ser espacios para conectar generaciones y arte, incluso con lluvia. Esa mezcla de comunidad y cultura es lo que sostiene la escena festivalera hoy.

Spent the weekend at Greenbelt Festival as a volunteer. Highlights include: - Toddlers first time camping (they enjoyed it, even the rain) - Toddlers first poetry reading (thanks Padraig O Tuama!) - Helping on an Art Installation - Facilitating a live Faith & Geekery podcast recording!

I spent the last five days at the Greenbelt festival. It was a glorious riot of wild and holy people and experiences. It also rained and rained AND RAINED. Everything I took with me is covered in mud. It’s a sign of what a wonderful festival it is that I don’t even care.

Just realised my tent is old enough to be a #GB26 steward... probably shouldn't think it's new... It has also been to all but one GB since

What a fabulous @greenbeltfestival.bsky.social #GB26 that was. The weather was variable but the grass clearly appreciated the rain as it was greener when we left than when we arrived (trackways excepted). I’m sure Dave the tree will care for our hearts til we meet again in a new festival home.
