Toasted fideos with chorizo, peas and saffron garlic aioli. Channeling my inner Spanish housewife and imaging cooking for mis abuelitos. Comfort in a bowl. 🍜🍽️
No pictures but dinner was simplicity itself: green beans and mashed potatoes from my garden and then a perfectly pan seared pork chop. Seasoned with salt and pepper and butter. I love herbs and spices but sometimes fresh ingredients and a little Maillard reaction is all you need. #Foodsky 🌱🍽️🍜
I’m in awe and grateful for all the comments, reskeets, and likes. I never imagined Nana’s cookbooks would grow like this. I’m so happy that it has. Thank you to all of you for bringing a little joy into my life every day. I hope to upload videos of recipes soon, starting with/French Dressing.

Korean Fire Chicken & a side of cabbage with Gochujang (Korean chili paste) mixed into it. Seaweed & green onions sprinkled on the chicken. Great recipe!
Looking at some past sauce recipes I liked and wondering what I want ghost pepper sauce to taste like? Just a pure sauce with no other flavors seems wild but can you really taste the other flavors? 😂 I think I want and apple onion ghost pepper base. I have 100 g of ghost peppers to play with. 💡❓🍽️🍜
Lovely Fall evening so we enjoyed Ina Garten "Weeknight Bolognese" over Spaghetti Squash by the fire pit. My contribution to this meal was riding my #CargoBike to 3 stores yesterday to find suitable squash and opening a Lake County, CA Merlot for dinner. 🍽️🍜
Quick weeknight dinner—TJ’s kebabs, curried okra, and rice and lentils. I don’t know why I don’t do okra like this more often, it’s a good, quick dinner 🍽️🍜
🍜🍽️🌱 Since moving to my current address, picking apples from the tree in the Autumn to make crumble, pies and cake is a definite highlight in the year!
