That index is kind of bullshit anyway. At least the Bills are making the playoffs and such. The Sabres haven't even made the NHL playoffs in close to 15 years. Which is truly ridiculous.

The Pirates + Sabres are so bad that my score jumps to 98 if I take the Bills out of the equation.
In other words, a top-4 NFL franchise over the past ~6 years doesn't have enough gravity to pull down the misery of supporting the most woeful NHL team and one of the most woeful MLB teams.
