Exported my game's default procgen map (with zero seed, in-game screenshot on the left) as a heightmap into my weather simulator (on the right). One noticeable thing is that my terrains are much smoother than what I tested on, gonna tweak things a lot! #indiedev #indiegames #gamedev

this is the walk cycle for the scientist enemies you will find in the procedurally generated scientist bases all around the map. They have loot but be warned... they have a grab attack and if they inject you with fluids, check your status to see what disease you have. #gamedev #unity #blender3d

I feel like caves of qud's controller setup is so good that it should just become the canonical controller layout for roguelikes from now on. it's so good I might actually prefer it to mouse and keyboard. Wildly underappreciated revolutionary genre work in that one element alone

Barely any vertical progress today, cuz I found a bug in procGen, which I had to prioritize. Was nothing serious, but definetely sth. you would notice. But got the Wisteria-situation resolved, and revisited some Tutorials, rewording them for more clarity + playtesting. #ruinsOfCalaworm #gameDev
