Quite revealing. Neither Gillingham nor Vogiatzakis has heard of Gabrielle Roy, arguably Winnipeg's most celebrated author, whose childhood home is now a museum in St. Boniface. Vogiatzakis has never even been to a play. That doesn't bode well for culture under their leadership. Kudos to Redden.

I really think something like art and music should be best left to humans.

I've been reading the Winnie-the-Pooh books to my toddler at bedtime, just in time for the 100th birthday of the series! I love seeing these images of Winnipeg Bear, who was apparently one of the inspirations for Pooh.
