A stranger at a ramen counter told a couple that splitting one noodle refill was embarrassing. Japanese commenters mostly sided with the couple, and the top reply was pure logistics: 「その場でスタッフに確認しとけば良かっただろう」 "Should have just checked with the staff right there." (8,048 likes) #JapanTravel #Ramen

Can You Share Food at a Japanese Restaurant? "Should Have Asked the Staff Right There": Japanese Diners on Splitting a Ramen Refill

Usually yes, once everyone has ordered their own bowl. Top reply on a ramen-sharing row (8,048 likes): ask the staff on the spot. The shop decides.

Japan manners, one a day: Keep your towel out of the water The bath water is shared, so anything that touches your body—including your towel—stays outside the tub. From “Japan Etiquette: Travel Guide” (free to download) App Store · Google Play #JapanTravel #JapanTips

A yakiniku restaurant in Matsusaka, Mie, serving premium A4–A5 Matsusaka beef. Visited in 2016 for the beef horumon (offal). Rich, creamy, and incredibly tender, with a delicate sweetness unlike any I'd tasted before. A must-try in Mie! #Matsusaka #Wagyu #Yakiniku #JapanTravel
