Perfect weather! Blue sky, hi of 55° today, low of 29° tonight & essentially same for next sev days. Muledeer left tracks along the woodlot. Area mountains have snow covered peaks now &, along the river, fall vegetation got a good drink of water before heading into winter.

New yard bird for us! Meaning the first time we've seen it here. It's a young female Varied Thrush, a relative of the American Robin. The males are a much brighter orange. They tend to nest in montane coniferous forests and are common in Alaska. I don't think I've ever seen one in Boise.
A medium-sized songbird that has a dull orange throat and breast with some pale white splotches on it. There is a very pale gray collar on the chest, a brown head with a pale orange stripe extended behind its eye, and a white belly. It is perched on top of red leaves of a Virginia creeper so it can eat its berries.

Let no one try to confuse you. Idaho’s Proposition One is very simple. It restores your right to abortion. It leaves the decision to you and your healthcare provider. That’s all.
