I can see how you can read that more aggressively than it was without the context I can also point that it's because of racism that makes you read his words so easily as aggressive (the unconscious bias that are harder to catch) But cutting the context to fuel that image is definitely worse

I think the full context is very much needed for this one They are prioritizing backfilling users from their own PDS, so it wasn't that surprising that other PDSes might not work perfectly over there

Yeah I'm on Bluesky's PDS on this account and I could still use other types of apps that aren't microblogging, and if I really wanted to use the microblog, I just opened it through Blacksky and Red Dwarf just fine I just took the opportunity to do some offline stuff too
