Okay so I'm not releasing it[1], but my DaVinci Resolve replacement is really starting to please me. [1] famous last words
Screenshot of a dark video editor timeline. Across the top toolbar are a blue pointer arrow, scissors, scissors with a small ellipsis badge, a crossed-out eye, overlapping rectangles with a camera symbol, and a “Picture angle: Zed” dropdown. Next are two stacked-layer icons, a plus sign, an undo arrow, and a dimmed redo arrow. At the far right is a partially cropped blue right-pointing arrow beside a vertical bar. The time ruler displays 00:00, 00:02, and 00:04. An orange triangular marker and vertical playhead sit just past two seconds. Six tracks are stacked vertically: - **avette-avatar-glow.png:** a brown image clip with a small landscape-picture icon. - **MacBook Pro Camera:** a blue-edged video strip with a webcam icon and repeated thumbnails of a person wearing glasses and a blue hoodie, seated beneath a boom microphone. - **Zed empty project:** a screen-recording strip with the Zed logo, a stylized Z inside a square, and thumbnails of a mostly white editor window. - **opus-dai-wide.png:** a brown image clip with a landscape-picture icon, selected with a bright yellow outline and yellow trim handles at both ends. - **Computer audio:** a dark green strip with a speaker-and-sound-waves icon and a nearly flat dotted green audio line. - **Scarlett Solo 4th Gen:** a microphone icon beside a dense green waveform whose height varies across the track. Track names appear in white on dark rounded labels, with “empty project” in gray.

GOP does nothing but gin up culture wars. Meanwhile: — GOP slashed SNAP benefits to 5+ million Americans, forcing them to turn to food banks. — Trump's tariffs and war spurred inflation, making it more expensive to eat at The Cheesecake Factory. Prices are now ~13% higher than when he took office.
Matt Whitlock tweets: "Classic Obama snobbery. Cheesecake Factory is a great option for people who can’t afford a private chef at their Martha’s Vineyard estate." There's an attached video of Obama saying Trump made the White House look like Saddam opened a Cheesecake Factory
Source NM headline reads: "It's shameful" New Mexico veterans increasingly turn to food banks after SNAP rollbacks.
