According to multiple reports, Saudi Arabia refused to allow the U.S. to use Saudi bases and airspace for the recent U.S. “Project Freedom” operation related to the Strait of Hormuz. This appears to have contributed to President Trump pausing or scaling back the operation.

to explain this, the air force uses a narrow corridor in saudi airspace near the iraqi border to get tankers between where they’re staged and the gulf (this is where the collision happened). losing that means it’s over, it more or less cuts them off from the persian gulf and beyond

when saudi arabia and kuwait say nope too much, can’t use our bases, you’ve really messed up

Some of you may have seen some previous posts where I accused people taking Saudi money "low dogs" for "accepting blood money". I would like to apologise. Now that I am working for the Saudi government, and have seen the size of those paychecks, I can unequivocally say I was wrong to do so.
