I was invited to be a guest on the Colbert Report back in November 2012 but I passed. My dad had just passed unexpectedly and Hurricane Sandy had hit, and I was about as emotionally frayed as Iāve ever been. It was the right call in the moment but Iāve regretted it ever since.
