DaVinci Resolve has a OTP version called Studio, but the only things that are unlocked by it are some extra effects, resolutions above 4k60fps, and their neural engine stuff. Outside that it's very competitive with Premiere Pro
I second this. I will forever shill davinci resolve to anyone who will listen. Free version has everything I have ever needed and likely will need in the future

2025 seems to be the year I mess around with various media editing and design software. I am diving deep into DaVinci Resolve now for a podcast/videocast project I am working on for next year and oh hey this is a deep dark hole I can fall down for hours and hours.

An hour & 20 to bounce a 6 minute video with 1 audio track & 2 titles with an effect on each from DaVinci resolve. Maybe I should've restarted my computer before I hit export. Anyway new song dropping shortly.
This was a little video editing experiment I've been working on. It uses the "ntsc-rs" OpenFX effect for the video and the "Chow Tape Model" VST effect for the audio. It was put together using DaVinci Resolve.
