Also as much as I love to joke about Outlaw Star having space ship knife fights, it does lend itself to both the on-ground -and- space battles using the animators very dynamic style. Yeah, a karate fighting space ship isn't realistic, but its fun to watch.

I train karate in a mask, while having POTS. for a long time, the POTS part was way harder, and the mask part was so that the POTS part wouldn't get worse and make it harder still.

The stampede scene from Jumanji was filmed in my hometown. I was like 4 years old at the time. I met Kirsten Dunst on the street and she asked me what I liked. Of course I said karate, so she pretended to do karate with me in the street. I thought she actually knew karate for many years after that.

When I was little I was at a tournament for karate. My sensei introduced me to Chuck Norris and at the time I didn’t know who that was so I was like “oh hi, who are you?” Like he’s a normal guy and I didn’t just meet a legend and I just disrespected him
