Talent an aptitude are often observed in childhood, where potential for the gift may manifest as vivid dreams or nightmares. The more visceral the visions, the more potential a child may have. Such children are quickly brought to the Emerald Tower for training, or assigned a private tutor.

One of these days I'd like to take another crack at making a battle tower fangame. I've already done it a handful of times, with varying degrees of success, and I kinda yearn to get back into it again. Who knows, maybe it's my signature style of game dev, but I just haven't accepted that yet. 😅
