I have a really funny bit I do where whenever there's a train in the snow in a movie, I point and say "polar express cinematic universe" and everything thinks it's super funny and cool, anyway, polar express cinematic universe (they derail a train in the snow in order to rob it)

I interviewed a filmmaker a long time ago who seemed to think it was a little weird when I asked him if he was attached to a protagonist who dies in his film, so I guess it's not the same for everyone. but... I personally have to be a little bit in love with my characters to keep me interested

I found the new film "Good Boy" intolerable. Even at 73 minutes it dragged and it mystifies me why the film's getting so many great reviews.
Yes, the dog in the film is cute and adorable, but you can only watch it perk up its ears, sniff and stare into the darkness so many times.
