In case you needed further evidence to show that the Danes are the more superior Nordic Specimen. πŸ‡©πŸ‡°πŸ‘‘πŸŒ

Leaving Oslo today and I was finally able to find a hot dog on lefse (potato flatbread) with shrimp salad and crispy onions for breakfast at the airport. Verdict: delicious

This is great. More please! The more folk who rely on LLMs for funding planning means my chances go up even before I submit!

The view from our restaurant in the Cape Town Waterfront tonight. And Anna-Lise and her mango daiquiri 😁

FWIW, I find LLMs incredibly useful and I use them frequently - so does my lab, where we (try to...) build new tools taking advantage of them. However, it is critically important to understand their promise vs limitations. Make sure your "rapture-to-bullshit continuum" is well-calibrated...

On ChatGPTs and the larger world of LLMs, this paragraph (and article) is on point. "... according to its true believers, is that it is never in its final form..." Hence, keep sending money. Hundreds of billions, please. www.theatlantic.com/techn….

I love that landscape. Many happy visits to see the seals nearby and the bleak majesty of Dunwich.

Off to Copenhagen for a visit to the Globe Institute - excited to hear more about the ancient DNA work going on. Got my winter waterproofs ready...

full agreement there -- particularly given that corruption is only likely to get *worse* going forward, not otherwise.

Nothing known about disease severity w/BA.3.2. So far, we've not seen large changes in virulence w/novel Omicron lineages, so my prior would be to expect little change. Biggest risk is that BA.3.2 adds a key mutation, like BA.2.86 did w/S:L455S (becoming JN.1), which led to a global surge in cases.

I go 4 days per week but I don't spend a ton of time - 30-40 minutes (I don't have time for more). Get in, do it, shower, get out.

Whatever you do, make it as easy as possible - least amount of activation energy. In my case, a new gym opened up across the street from my kids school - I drop them off and go work out. I started with a personal trainer for a couple months to make sure I went and learn to do it wo hurting myself

performatively punishing a few people isn't going to improve fire safety here anymore than ""Confucian Values"" will stop you from catching SARSCoV2 back in April 2020.

like, Grenfell is actually a good comparison! b/c this is every bit as cartoonishly, ghoulishly corrupt as Grenfell. moreover, there were countless ignored warnings here too! IT'S LESS DIFFERENT THAN YOU THINK.
