“Katara would hate you for shipping Zutara.”
Katara is a fictional character who only exists because a group of writers & Nick execs crafted her into existence. I am not denying her agency because she has none to begin with! She is a Nicktoon!
I don't care what the plot is. Aang and the gang could be grocery shopping for two hours, I don't care. If just the screenshots and edits have me like this, I can't imagine what the actual movie's gonna be like

It's so on the nose about everything.
We can't have an actual deep exploration of the gried aang feels bc we need cool sakuga action.
What really got me was Suki featured at the end, just having a short cameo. The audacity.
Some people are saying “she needed to give Aang more heirs to continue a line of airbenders” which is disgusting and sexist. Also there’s some Zutara fans that see Katara and Zuko as some sort of colonial x native kink fantasy (someone drew Katara like Disney’s Pocahontas) and that’s gross.
There’s now a debate online within the ATLA fandom about whether Zutara (Zuko x Katara) or Kataang (Aang x Katara) was “better.” Like I have my own opinions on Kataang being kind of rushed and the “best friends become a couple” trope, but some fans are misunderstanding Katara badly.
