When we visited my parents early this month, my kids made up a list of bookstores and thrift stores to visit. (There are a lot fewer than when I lived in San Diego!) Verbatim was my sonโs favorite, though my daughter was enamored with all the manga at BOOKOFF.

Like yeah, it isn't exactly "true to the source material", but it never feels insulting to it either. They don't even use the dub terms, which is the thing I expected the most!
Also "Dragon Ball 1:1 to the manga but in 90 minutes and with hollywood actors" just sounds miserable.

Iโm not quite sure what to expect. I do hope in the future we get a film thatโs like the Superman/Batman comics. That type of film is too early now sadly!
