Donkey Kong is fine? It’s overly simplistic but stereotypical level themes.
I do like the tiny little DKC style challenges.

My preorder for Shadow Labyrinth came in last night, that edgy Pac-Man metroidvania thing. Was honestly a bit worried that it was going to be horrible, but I'm having a lot of fun with it so far. Looks ok on my PC, a couple people I know playing on Switch sound unsatisfied with the graphics there.

Shadow Labyrinth just dropped an hour or so ago. It's bandai namcos Pac-Man metroidvania weirdo mashup. I'm still quite interested but with only mostly positive reviews I'm going to wait for a sale.

Tbh its not really sunsetting unless you consider powercreep to be sunsetting, I liked it, Gameplay is a 6-7/10, a bit gimmicky with the metroidvania-lite world zone, story and characters prolly an 8/10 gets better near the end as its setting up the next saga, and the new weapons are a highlight.
