Madness. When I was working in Borders years ago in London a person wanted a certain book banned, my manager who was German took the person to the history section, showed her Mein Kampf & said she hates this book but would never ban it as we need to learn about it. My blood boils with book bans.

Hi I paint pigeons for fun and sometimes I sell them to raise money for authors against book bans, would it be ok if I used one of these photos as a reference?

As a fan of Ali Velshi I try my best to fill my home with banned books to loan out to my neighbors and local schools.

Despite his rumpled appearance, Darrow was known for his eloquent, moving courtroom speeches, often portraying himself as a defender of the common man and an opponent of state power. His legal pleas and writings champion civil liberties, intellectual freedom and the rights of the working class. /end

"I survived banned books" And its literally all the books we read in school. None of these a banned. In your school, doubt it. But even if that was the case a school is different from the normal library.

Support local book stores if you can. Support local and national libraries&museums&parks - EVERYONE CAN. And buy banned books wherever you can, and keep them safe. We shall conserve, and we shall rebuild.

We all known A*azon tends to sell books bellow list prices, but I've recently found them selling books at below WHOLESALE prices. I know this because I own a store. That's fucked up. Anyways, support your local book stores. Shit's tough.

I'm glad folks aren't taking the stance that led to mass book bans (the idea that folks working on the things aren't fully knowledgeable about what they're doing).

Isn’t it time to defend intellectual freedom and democracy? Or is your campus too busy capitulating to the pedophile in chief? Do you know how ridiculous institutions will look to the people of the future? Do you know how cowardly these policies of capitulation will seem? Preserve your dignity.

One of my hobbies, born of the boredom of the pandemic, is to search for inexpensive copies of banned books. I purchase them and I keep them in a plastic bin in my car trunk and I stock little libraries with a few every time I drive by one with available space.
