A little more thinking about this. I try not to be overly cynical but it's also not hard to see how this plays into the LDP's pitch that it is a bulwark against instability.

This isn't just an "issue". Newsom's cynical engagement with real lives, giving away their existing right to a good future in an attempt to curry favor with a non-existent median voter rendered from polling, this all says a lot about character. If you want Starmer you know where to find him.

RE: No consistent ranking system for competitive Splatoon There's no widely accepted system in the West. What would people want to see from a grassroots-based system? How do you think it should be done? I may potentially have an idea for how to fix this, but I want to hear what others think first.

For those of us on the academic and research side who have been pointing this out for well over two years now, it is becoming more and more clear that there is no plan to counter this radicalization process only a cynical plan to lean into it and try to normalize it within the party.

I don't really get involved in discourse because I understand that Americans don't care about truth. Worse, they may even know that they are wrong, but they justify it from a cynical and Machiavellian perspective. I'm not saying left or right; I am saying the majority of ALL Americans.
