I’d say Numenéra, bc it’s an incredible idea to think about Earth a billion years in the future! And also Tormenta, which is a JRPG-like fantasy setting from Brazil that’s been around for 25 years and is incredibly diverse and adventurous!

Ironically, I find the Cypher System to be a bad fit for Numenera. The fantasy the setting is trying to sell ("Discovery is the soul of Numenera") and what the rules have me focus on (character builds with crunchy abilities, combat slog, do-everything D20) are at complete odds with each other.

Thanks @montecookgames.com for letting us peek under the hood of Numenera back when it was just a word doc. We had such a great time playtesting the game.

None of the ones I've read tbh. The least bad are Monte Cook's books like Numenera & Ptolus because the margin contains relevant page numbers for more info on stuff in the text, making it easy to cross reference. Every adventure I've read though is a wall of text, which isn't useful at the table imo

Numenera was almost my first tabletop RPG ever, and I still wonder what would have happened if it was!
My sole experience with the setting is the CRPG.

I'm fascinated by Numenera. The sheer scale of the backdrop setting (Earth a billion years in the future) with mysterious science fantasy is something I don't see often.

I only played the slightest bit of it, only barely reaching the first bit of 'gameplay', and it hadn't even started to grab me yet.
I got further in Torment: Tides of Numenera, but ended up stopping due to a softlock bug that afaik still hasn't been patched.

Je sais pas si c'est vraiment SF mais Sable Rouge avait sa saveur à lui (et ses règles étaient claquées).
Numenera pourrait aussi correspondre même si c'est sur Terre dans TREES longtemps.
On avait aussi Exil dans le temps.
Et je suis sur que j'en oublie là tout de suite mais que ça va me revenir
