5 minutes agohonestly the arl urban dredd movie was very good how faithful it was to the comics i can't say because dredd is the kind of dark age non-sense i would have preferred died out in the 90s.

In theory I should love omnibus editions of comics - huge chunks at once, restored, and though they're pricey the per-unit cost is pretty low. But in practice they're heavy and unwieldy so that I find them hard to read.
Which is a shame because this year there are a lot of great ones coming out.

There's a really sad scam targeting comic book Kickstarters right now where people email you pretending to be fellow comic creators/publishers. They're obviously fake template emails with fake addresses, but could easily catch out newcomers or people with less experience.

I guess I'm an open book. CC and G.I. Robot were introduced in this series in the early 80s & took over the title. I was a HUGE fan. Monsters, WWII, horror, swords 'n' sorcery. Those were my comics.

I've seen that sentiment thrown around the vtuber space, probably superhero comics as well with them having to deal with tourists who got in via adaptations.
Definitely one of the worst maledictions around.

Seriously, having this kind of take in 2025 alone is dumb, but having that being said by someone who is currently writing in the comics themselves really reels in how little care DC has now. And how godawful the state of the editorial team is.
