Gift article. I like this review. Just saw the movie and loved it. You have to be a fan of dark whimsy, I suppose. Along the lines of "Pushing Daisies" and "Hannibal." www.nytimes.com/2025/12/1….

I'd like to watch a bunch of Criterion films but I refuse to actually pay for any streaming service, by which I mean I can't afford to.

I'm feeling very tired so I'm going to bed, anyway I watched the sequel to A Charlie Brown Christmas so if you're interested in my thoughts then here you go (also poor Charlie Brown for selling his entire comic book collection for a $25 dollar glove): letterboxd.com/md437/film/i...

A ★★½ review of It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown (1992)

Last week I did my yearly rewatch of A Charlie Brown Christmas for it's 60th anniversary (which I still think that special is perfect), so I decided to rewatch it's sequel special "It's Christmastime ...

I've watched 3 films starring Josh O'Connor in the past few months and he's really shown his incredible range. In Kelly Reichardt's excellent THE MASTERMIND he plays an unemployed man who cooks up a scheme for an art heist that doesn't quite go as planned. #filmsky #fyc

2025 movie thread #90: Catherine Called Birdy (2022). A bright and cheery period piece that refuses to let the mood be brought down by, uh... the terrible fate of girls to be married off to strangers for money. Great cast! letterboxd.com/davisgsee/fi...

personally, I regularly visit m.imdb.com/calendar/?re... and look for things and because I pay for a monthly unlimited pass at Regal, I see lots of trailers, which is another way do need to see more indie films, though

As a non Neil Diamond fan I wasn’t sure what to expect but that’s part of the charm this film. The trials and tribulations of life are felt by all of us. Loved it. Also, Sweet Caroline is stuck in my head now. #FilmSky #SongSungBlue

Didn’t post this earlier because I got distracted. It happens sometimes. Anyway, go watch Song Sung Blue when it releases this Christmas. It’s an uplifting yet heart wrenching story about a couple (Kate and Hugh) that go for their dreams and take on everything that life throws at them. #FilmSky

I have... perhaps a controversial opinion about John Wick having just finished it for the first time. After a decade of only having seen the first half, there's an argument to be made maybe I saw the best half. letterboxd.com/gavingwhiz/f...

John Wick succeeds in literally everything he does in the same way that a D&D character succceeds at everything when the Dungeonmaster only applies wrist-slap punishments for failures. He has plot arm...
