Yeah. Doing a prequel book 13 years after your last book came out just for the sake a movie deal, felt kind of forced. That's what it felt like at least. I think Lionsgate has first look rights to HG as a franchise.

It's not a happy or feel-good movie in the least, but Requiem For a Dream.

Oh and you’ll need some way to get your film out of the canister. You can use another strip of film you wet to fish it out, but it’s finicky and so I just bought a purpose made tool eventually. They make nondestructive ones if you want to reload, or little can opener styles.

Which series or movie started your anime journey?! There are three answers. As a child? Superbook actually/Voltron spiritually As a teen? Ranma 1/2. Fun show a friend lent me on tape. As an adult? Cowboy Bebop. Read about it in Animerica. Got the 1st DVD. Got hooked. Bought the 2nd a week later.

This brings to mind the scene in the movie "Frequency" where John Sullivan tells Jack Shephard, "You went down 30 years ago, pal. You just don't know it yet."

If you see this, quote this post with a time-travel movie that's not Back To The Future.

I feel like we might be too close to EDDINGTON's period right now to fully appreciate how well it captures 2020 (or maybe that's just me). It's a superb film, if you want to relive that moment in history so soon. My review: www.deepfocusreview.com/r…. #FilmSky #MovieSky #Eddington

I do, but the repeat-customer stuff is also tied up in me having wanted a movie just like it for 30+ years. There’s very little in pop culture that meant the world to me as a kid and still does, but Superman’s one.

The 2025 reboot of I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER is better than the original sequel. That’s not saying much, but there are some solid moments. Overall, however, it’s unfortunately very mediocre. Read our full movie review!

Continuing my thesis that every movie, no matter how bad, has at least one great shot. Love the framing for this shot of Debbie having successfully buried someone alive
Debbie Rochon, now in a bomber jacket, holding a shovel aloft in both hands. She is standing of a fresh pile of earth and dust swirls around her
