1 day agoFYI Dalmeny Estate tarmac roads between the shore and NCN1 are closed on Saturdays until 1st Feb 2026 according to signage at the closures. Roads highlighted in yellow.

#EdTravCyc a note that Manse Rd in Corstorphine is closed for 10 days from Monday 1sr December for roadworks (unsure what they’re doing but assume they’re making some of the LTN pavement widening permanent)

The path is open, but has a few artificial pinch-points. Whilst now not blocking the path, the fence is still further out than it needs to be AND the spy robots are all still where they were, on the opposite side of the path from Leonardo, outside of the enclosure they're supposed to be protecting.

For those who follow the #EdTravCyc custom feed*:
It's been missing posts since early Nov. (as has the concept of the #edibike feed, which is for 'happy cycling photos' ostensibly...)
We're now on a paid plan with the feed creation platform which should mean it works 'realtime' going forward...

#EdTravCyc It was also not possible to get from the CCWEL to Shandwick Pl without dismounting and traipsing over the footway, due to barriers placed outside the traffic lane for vehicles turning from Dalry Road to Palmerston Place which ignored the possibility of cycles emerging from Haymarket Tce
