I still have body image issues, especially around my stomach. But I'm making progress on setting aside internalised judgement, and learning how attractive my body is when I set aside all the insidious bullshit our society indoctrinates us with around fatness and fat bodies

Billie Eilish speaks out on aging, body image, and rejecting cosmetic surgery

Billie Eilish has shared her perspective on aging and cosmetic surgery, emphasizing her desire to grow older naturally without altering her appearance. Speaking on Amy Poehler’s podcast Good Hang, the 24-year-old artist said she looks forward to seeing her face and body change over time, rather than pursuing cosmetic procedures. She explained that she wants to maintain her natural features, especially so future children can recognize themselves in her, instead of seeing what she described as a “botched version” influenced by current beauty trends. Eilish reflected on how her understanding of aging has evolved since her teenage years. At 17, she believed her identity and appearance would remain constant, but she now recognizes that change is inevitable and a normal part of life. Her comments highlight a broader message about accepting growth and rejecting unrealistic expectations. The singer has also previously addressed the impact of cosmetic procedures and digital manipulation on public perception. In a 2021 interview, she criticized the promotion of unattainable beauty standards, particularly when celebrities deny undergoing enhancements. While she clarified that people are free to make choices about their bodies, she expressed concern about the harmful effects of misleading images on young audiences. Even with insider knowledge of the industry, she admitted that such imagery can still negatively affect her self-esteem. In addition to discussing aging, Eilish has spoken openly about her personal struggles with body image. She revealed that her signature baggy clothing style originated from a difficult relationship with her body and eating issues, as well as a desire to avoid being perceived through a sexualized or traditionally feminine lens. She acknowledged that these feelings were influenced by internalized misogyny but noted that she has since developed a healthier mindset. Overall, Eilish’s comments contribute to ongoing conversations about authenticity, self-image, and societal pressure, particularly in the entertainment industry.

I'm being very facetious and am aware people have body image issues. Certainly hypnotherapy can help with some things like over eating so maybe it can change bodies in some ways.

I have to wonder to what degree weight lo/ss would solve his body image issues? At least on a subconcious level he does seem to have a desire for gaining, his profile confirms that. A 180 might temporarily make him feel better about himself, but won't stop him being a feedee with poor body image 😥

[2/2] Anyone else remember the old Special K cereal ads? All closeups of female abdomens with no subcutaneous fat, with someone pinching a tiny fold of skin, and the slogan “can’t pinch an inch”? Fffffffffucking WILD body image toxicity. 😩

IT’S OFFICIAL! Sherrod Brown is Ohio’s Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate! Together, we will win this race, flip Ohio blue, and take back the Senate in November. Onwards!
A graphic featuring a portrait of Sherrod Brown smiling in a blue sweater, layered over an outline of Ohio and a crowd of supporters. A red cardinal is in mid-flight to the left, and a smaller full-body image of Sherrod Brown in a gray suit appears at the bottom. Bold text reads "Sherrod" in a red-to-yellow gradient, with the words "Democrat for U.S. Senate" and "Ohio" in blue below, with a donkey logo at the bottom.

unn hollowknight 🤝🏼 sunny omorigame: (sleeps to clip through life problems) (it does not work. the problems get worse in fact) 😔 #hollowknight x #omori, drawn in 2021
gijinka of unn from hollow knight as a child, in a style influenced by the game omori.

unn is a fat indigenous australian child with wavy hair that falls to the middle of her upper arms, depicted entirely in monochrome blue-greens. she wears a t-shirt with a sunflower print on the chest, a short skirt, a cloth headband with a bow resembling sprouting leaves, and round glasses. she is barefoot and carries a gardening trowel.

there is a full body image of her on the left, and on the right there are three horizontal rows of different expressions according to the in-game emotion status effects in omori: two tiers of HAPPY, two tiers of ANGRY, and three tiers of SAD.
gijinka of grimm from hollow knight as a child, in a style influenced by the game omori.

grimm is a skinny indigenous australian child with afro textured hair styled in cornrows that tie into two puff buns. he wears a t-shirt with a print of red gradient blocks on the chest, a set of overalls with only the left strap buttoned, and thick strapped sandals. he carries a plush marionette of a grimmkin enemy from hollow knight. he is tinted pastel pink.

there is a full body image of him on the right, and on the left there are three horizontal rows of different expressions according to the in-game emotion status effects in omori: three tiers of HAPPY, two tiers of SAD, and two tiers of ANGRY.
gijinka of radiance from hollow knight as a child, in a style influenced by the game omori.

radiance is an indigenous australian child of average build with curly elbow length hair tied in osage. she wears a one-piece white dress patterned around the hem with the sunrise motif found in metalwork near her boss plinth in godhome. she is barefoot with an anklet on her right leg and carries a flashlight. she is tinted in blue.

there is a full body image of her on the left, and on the right there are four horizontal rows of different expressions according to the in-game emotion status effects in omori: two tiers of HAPPY, two tiers of SAD, three tiers of ANGRY, and two tiers of AFRAID.
image of sunny from omori, an asian american teenage boy with short black hair and solid black eyes, balancing unn in her actual appearance of a large sea slug on his forearm. the length of her foot is from about the middle of his hand to his elbow. both characters are looking at each other. the image uses the same monochrome green palette as the omori style gijinka of unn.

Some clothes that I ordered a few weeks ago finally arrived. If I wasn't having a bad body image day before, I sure am now. Also, this sweater is not "soft Mojave rose;" this sweater is CORAL. I HATE coral. But the proportions aren't bad, so I might order it in another color.

For a start it was a Sun reporter out for a gotcha. He tried to help her with her body image. His main claim to fame is that he doesn’t support a genocide, wants what’s best for people and to not destroy the planet.
