Breathlessness in dreams often arrives with pressure, panic, or restraint — a bodily version of feeling unable to get enough room. It reflects our internal struggles, a reminder of the weight we carry. What do these symbols reveal over time? nemurai.com/dream-symbols… #body #

This ref is pretty old but I really like how I laid it out. I might redraw just the main full body image of him and keep the rest.

Sören My half of an art trade with @pearlsnakeart.bsky.social! Flat colors only this time. :> But I had a lot of fun drawing this handsome lad. #art #humanoid #gargoyle ☽〇☾
A half body image of a masculine gargoyle character. He is green with asymmetrical markings on his face and body. He has large feathery wings, golden eyes with green sclera, and large curled horns.

He is laying on his back in the grass, looking up to the sky.

10 years difference! The time will pass anyways so why not spend it pursuing your dreams?
A half-body image of a goblin with short blonde hair, wearing a leather jacket with a red zip-up top underneath. She has red eyes, with ears that point upwards. This was done in MS paint in 2016
A bust portrait of Hypna, a goblin with blue hair and green skin, stylized as a satyr or faun. She has six horns that curl around her head, goat-style eyes with an elongated pupil and a stylized beast-like nose. She's wearing a thick leather collar with a silver bell around her neck. Her ears are similarly goat-like and pieces with silver hoops. This was done in ClipStudio Paint in 2026.
A full-body drawing of a goblin with pastel blue and pink hair styled into long braids. She has matching sleeve tattoos featuring blue flames. She's wearing a black corset with back fishnet stockings. This image was made in MS Paint in 2016.
A thighs-up image of a goblin, Hypna, wearing a pastel rainbow bunny suit with matching thigh-high stockings and wrist cuffs. She's wearing a pink pastel bow-tie and fuzzy purple bunny ears. She has rich green skin, vibrant blue hair with an indigo sheen, and enchanting lilac eyes. She's wearing pink eyeshadow with her lips tinted a bright blue. One hand is on her hip and the other hangs by her side. The background is a teal oval. This was also done in Clip Studio Paint in 2026.

@renudist couple things to bare in mind as you work black and brown bodies have been objectified and & hyper sexualized for ages. As a result many non white people have internalized negative body image. Also black and brown people don't always feel safe in typically white naturist spaces […]

Arnie has been going through some changes in Project Iapetus [ #art #oc #PI2 ]
Character Reference update for my OC, Arnie!

[ARNIE/LOSS]
Chapter 4
(Character Reference) Post Soul Pair + Oblivion
(Arnie found his soul partner, his BFF Edelweiss, which has influenced his domain of Loss. He also buried his former self, Arne Einarsson, in Oblivion to find peace.)

Nordic tattoos belonged to Arne Einarsson.
Arnie's tattoos have been replaced by dark marks that feel numb.

There are five images on this character reference. Arnie is a very tall, very muscular man whith ghostly pale skin. His mess of long black hair obscures his eyes, and his breath is constantly visible. He has two pale hands that emerge from his hair, and they are positioned almost like antlers cradling a black halo that sits behind his head.

The first image under the title Arnie is seated on the ground and leaning forward with long clawed arms outstretched. His hair flows wildly behind him and additional arms emerge from the dark mass.

Text reads: extra hands and arms emerge from his hair

Under the image reads text: longer arms and claws (the better to grasp you with my dear!)

Above that is a mouth with sharpened canines and blue lips.
Arnie is always freezing to the touch and his skin appears blue in places.
A note under this image reads: sharp fangs

To the right is a bust shot, but instead of a human head his hair has formed a strange almost wolf-like head of spiky hair. Instead of teeth there are fingers interlocked like jaws and puffs of breath spill from the gaps.
Text under that reads: Hair is weird. Floats like under water.

Next his a full body image. His pale arms are elongated and end with blue claws. He wears a white tank top, dark grey slacks, and nice black shoes.

And in the top right is a bust shot straight on. His eyes are obscured, and the black circle that sits behind his head is labeled "black halo"

Exploring the line between skincare self-care and body image concerns

The article examines the growing phenomenon of cosmeticorexia, a term describing an excessive preoccupation with achieving flawless skin through elaborate skincare routines. While skincare can be enjoyable and soothing, the piece explores when this self-care becomes problematic. The author notes that cosmeticorexia is not a recognized medical diagnosis but rather a recently proposed term, with limited research supporting its existence. A small study cited in the original editorial found 'cosmeticorexic traits' in about 8% of dermatology patients who had undergone multiple filler procedures, but this sample is highly selective and doesn't represent the broader population. The article highlights that young people, particularly tweens and teenage girls, are increasingly exposed to complex skincare routines and anti-ageing messaging through social media, which can impact their developing body image. Research shows that comparing one's appearance with others online is associated with body image concerns and eating disorder symptoms. The piece also discusses the physical risks of excessive skincare, such as skin barrier disruption, inflammation, and contact dermatitis from layering multiple active ingredients like retinoids and exfoliating acids. A 2025 study of TikTok videos revealed that skincare routines for girls aged 7-18 typically included an average of six products costing around US$168 (A$230), with only 26% of daytime routines including sunscreen. The article provides warning signs that may indicate problematic skincare habits, including spending increasing amounts of time or money on skincare, feeling compelled to follow rigid routines, becoming anxious when products are unavailable, and avoiding social activities due to skin concerns. It offers practical advice for those concerned about their skincare habits, such as unfollowing triggering social media accounts, removing magnifying mirrors, setting spending limits, and consulting healthcare professionals. For parents, the article suggests having open conversations about skincare rather than banning products or criticizing appearance. The author emphasizes that skincare itself isn't the problem, but rather when caring for skin becomes tied to the belief that skin must be perfected before feeling acceptable. The piece concludes by directing readers to resources like the Butterfly Foundation for those concerned about body image issues.

It is. But also, yes, some kids lie. I did. For me it was an excuse to get out of embarrassing classes because of body image issues. It's ridiculous to bother kids over this. Sports shouldn't be graded anyway
