First up: W Don't Have Time @wdonthavetime.selfhosted.social published a deep dive this morning revealing how "Just 18 unverified VIP accounts produce more than half of all #WSocial content" 🔗: wdonthavetime.offprint.ap…. My face today, since reading it: 🤯 #WSocialFacts
Just 18 unverified VIP accounts produce more than half of all W Social content.

Just 18 unverified VIP accounts produce more than half of all W Social content.

W Social says users must verify themselves before they can post, yet most of the top 25 posters have no verification records and between them have created over 250,000 posts. Find out who gets to post on W Social without verification.

The playbook used for W Social is the same as for "We Don't Have Time": - Pick a hot issue (climate, sovereignty) - Raise mostly from a lot of smaller investors (who aren't so technically literate and won't perform serious diligence) - Use that network to look big - Use others' fame - Lie, lie, lie

Do you mean the story in which that particular Wsocial founder commercially exploited Greta Thunberg's name without the family’s knowledge?🤓

Das soziale Netz W Social will sich mit einer Verifizierung aller Konten von der Konkurrenz abheben. Dass einige gesammelte Daten publik sind, sei kein Fehler.
