Ficus tuffy development update. These were roadside giveaways I picked up last year. Did a major root reduction back then also. Growth has not been as predictable in response to pruning as I'd expect so just letting them bush out for a season. Looking good though. 🇳🇿🌱 ##Bonsai

Spent the afternoon putting the gardens to bed. 🌱😴 Their remaining bounty - the seedheads & spent pods- belong to the wild ones now. 🐿 We’ll rendezvous once again when the world stirs back to life in the Spring, but for now they’ll slumber peacefully under their warm coverlet of shed leaves. 🍂
