Was cleaning up dill that had gone to seed in big blueberry pots & spreading seeds around to renew them for next year & found these 2 fatty catties ready to pupate into Black Swallowtail #butterflies.

Happy sixty-fifth day of summer to all who celebrate. This is "Molineux" (by David Austin) rose. It is normally a really soft shade of yellow, but this bloom is nearing its end and has decided to glow like a sunset. Nature is beautiful. ๐ฑ

After killing our lawn four years ago to grow a pollinator garden๐ฑ, we have our first monarch caterpillar! In previous years, we saw monarchs, but never saw any cats.

#Gardeners and #Birders: I live in north central Indiana and I used to get a lot of robins in my yard & garden but this year I have seen none. ZERO. Anyone else see the decline of robins? Why? I don't use any sprays or herbicides in my yard. I get all kinds of birds just no robins. Just weird๐ฑ๐ฆ
