Baby tank ft. baby Skeksis #herps #wyrmpets

Photo of a lit tall nano tank with a faux rock background. A tiny baby chahoua gecko, fired up in shades of bright green and pinkish grey, is sitting between a plastic food cup containing a little pink gecko diet (a sauce-like substance) and the glass wall. The cup is in a clear acrylic holder held up by magnets. The tank also contains two long cork flats leaning against the back and four purple platforms shaped like shelf mushrooms stuck to the wall on the right with magnets. The "floor" is covered in a bed of live mood moss, a a string of frogs plant (Ficus pumila 'Quercifola'), and a nerve plant with pink veins (Fittonia spp.).

Photo looking inside the nano tank. The baby chahoua gecko, now fired down and mostly shades of brown instead of green, is hanging upside-down from the edge of the food cup holder by their back feet on the ledge and their prehensile tail braced inside the food cup.

I really love chahouas. Mniarogekko #chahoua, unsexed, 33 days old (I think? Unless I'm misreading the label, in which case they're 140 days old) #gecko #geckos #herps #wyrmpets #pets #animals #petsky #reptiles #lizards #cute

Photo of a little bitty baby chahoua gecko standing on a piece of cork bark, gazing upward at the "ceiling" of their temporary tub home.

Photo of the same baby chahoua gecko, now facing forward.

bébés. Bought them 6 months ago but it's been too hot to ship them to this week, so they just came in yesterday. Gargoyle & Pine Island #chahoua #geckos, both from Tiki's Geckos. Currently unnamed & unsexed. #wyrmpets #herps #gecko #pets #petsky #lizards #reptiles #gargoylegecko #chahouagecko

Photo of a baby red and orange striped gargoyle gecko all fired up, resting on the back of a pale man's hand atop a laptop's keyboard.

Photo of a baby white-collared Pine Island chahoua gecko licking its eyeball while standing on a pale man's fingertips. This tiny little lizard looks like a compressed wad of moss with legs.

She's gone. Rest in peace, my galaxy gal. I'll love you forever. You'll always be with me. You'll never hurt again. Cassiopeia, March 3, 2011 - September 28, 2026. #wyrmpets

The first photo of Cassiopeia, shown here at 6 weeks old with her four littermates,

The last photo of Cassiopeia, 15 years old, cancer-stricken, curled up on her bed inside a cat carrier.

Pet illness & death cw. I think it's time to let Cassie go. She's having trouble walking and her breathing's gone funny. At this point, it's only going to get worse unless I let her go the gentle way. I can't force her to keep suffering worse and worse just because I'm terrified of losing her.

Cassie is pretty worn out, but she's been doing a GREAT job of eating today!! 🎉 Every time she eats more than a couple of bites of anything in a win. One day at a time. #fuckcancer #wyrmpets

Photo of a tired-looking little old black classic tabbycat lying on her side on a pillow on a messy bed. Her expression is distant and she has one foreleg stretched out, half-hiding her face. There is a large, visible lump on her shoulder: a tumor.

Tiggy kitty 🥰 This is Cassie's sister and last surviving littermate, Tigger, AakA Tuffy. She can be grumpy but really she's a sweet old girl who's been nannying my mom while she's been sick. #cats #catsofbluesky #Catsky #wyrmpets

Photo of a lovely old brown mackerel tabbycat with pale green eyes lying on the back of a brown leather sofa with just one front paw exposed, looking up and to the left.

Photo of the same cat at the apex of a mighty yawn.

The new girls have arrived, and they're even more stunning in person! Meet Escher ('21 F Okeetee tessera corn snake) and These Violet Delights (Violet for short, '19 F lavender corn snake). Gentle, curious, healthy-seeming girls. Violet is even more purple IRL! #wyrmpets #herps #snakesky #petsky

Photo of an adult Okeetee tessera corn snake held in a pale, tattooed man's open hand and wrist. She looks alert and curious. Her markings consist of a light orange line all the way down the spine, broken in places and thickly outlined in black; followed downward by a bright orange base; and then cream-colored sides with keyhole-pattern-like margins and pixellated-looking orange spots, both also outlined in black. She also has a light orange spot on her head, a light orange "head stamp" shaped like a teeny dick and balls, and a sort of "mask" of light orange over her eyes and snout, all outlined in black.

Photo of the Okeetee tessera corn snake with the side/back of her head pressed to the pale man's thumb pad. An open laptop can be seen in the background beneath her but that's not especially relevant.

Photo of an adult lavender corn snake loosely held in a pale, tattooed man's open hand, wrapped gently around his wrist and inspecting his forearm. She is very very pale, very very light lavender with darker purple-grey saddles. Her head is a very pale pinkish lavender. She looks very relaxed.

Photo of the lavender corn snake inspecting the man's palm. Her head is just a little out of focus because it's all but impossible to select focus on a phone one-handed when trying to take pics quickly.

Been a few years since I got any new snakes after massively downsizing my collection. Picking these girls up Tuesday morning. 2019 0.1 lavender, 2021 0.1 Okeetee tessera #herps #snek #snakes #wyrmpets #reptiles

Photo of an adult lavender corn snake in the sunlight, sitting in a large clear plastic tub. She is very very pale, very very light lavender with darker purple-grey saddles.
