The Writers Guild of America is calling for an investigation into Paramount after ending The Late Show. Link: www.wga.org/news-events/... Also, I love my friends who know I am deep into research and keep me up to date. It takes a village to write, research, and stay on top of this chaos

Frt i would be curious of their numbers. Like the best demographic for them would be the contrarian news reader class and its a saturated market with plainly better competitors.

All Ive read of their articles, even of those not clearly ideological, are boring and first year J school quality reporting. Their recognized columnists' stuff is the same, but with a bunch of repetive political gripes shoved in. Millions of dollars and less scoops than the average student paper.

The thing about The Free Press is it's just not good. Go try to read some of their articles. The work they do is just unimpressive across the board. Their opinions are bad, but so is the work they're doing

The local paper did a very similar front-page feature two years ago. Still waiting for the (former provincial NDP leader) mayor and multiple progressive councillors, who all campaigned hard on "hate has no home here," to actually lift a finger in response...

It's not even that clandestine... they post on multiple platforms every time they do *anything*, researchers and journalists have been following them compulsively for years and antifascists exposed all the names of Lapoint's crew a while ago now. People just don't care.

This is a really good investigation. White supremacists are clandestinely training in parks and gyms without detection. Excellent journalism here.

Anna Slatz ist homophob, transfeindlich, rassistisch, unterstützt Scientology, ... Ist also ein richtiges Herzchen. rationalwiki.org/wiki/Reduxx

Reduxx

Reduxx[note 1] is a Canadian far-right anti-transgender hate website run and founded by Anna Slatz, formerly known as Anna De Luca.

Slatz has a long history of far-right activity, support for Scientology, [2][3] virulent homophobia and racism, and contributions to far-right outlets such as Rebel News and The Post Millennial. Southern Poverty Law Center called the site "nothing but rabid transphobia". [4] Despite, or perhaps because of its overt far-right links, Reduxx enjoys significant popularity with anti-trans activists claiming to be radical feminists and has been described as the TERF v-t-e answer to Breitbart. The website calls itself "pro-woman, pro-child safeguarding" and is singularly focused on obsessively publishing articles accusing trans people of being pedophiles or criminals. Genevieve Gluck, the website's most prolific writer, has "a very strange creepy obsession" with collecting images of trans women and linking them to crime. [5] The website has been referred to as a "trans-obsessed hate-porn site."[5] Reduxx has a sister publication called ThePublica, also founded and edited by Slatz, that focuses on promoting racism and anti-immigrant politics.

Selling a media outlet to right wing wealthy individuals is certainly a way to suppress the media and opposition. Laying out clearly what you want from the rest of the media outlets is also a path to follow.

Male supremacy is misogyny, but it’s a specific type with specific goals. What we’re talking about here are the toxic masculinist influencers like Tate, etc. This article explains the term well: gnet-research.org/2023/01/10/s...

The U.S. is about to destroy 500 metric tons of emergency food—meant for starving people—because it sat too long in a Dubai warehouse. Taxpayers will now pay $100K just to throw it out. A former official blames the Trump-era gutting of USAID. www.cnn.com/2025/07/16/p...
