Anyway. I hate how most studios are obsessed w trends but not in a smart way. Everyone suddenly wants to try the spiderverse style even though that requires several WHOLE departments who are experienced in doing said style, and MAJORITY don't know how to make it rly work
I forgot to talk about this but yesterday I rewatched Spiderman Into the Spiderverse and just now watched Spider man across the spiderverse and genuinely those 2 movies are the peakest of peak. If you can I highly recommend watching both
remember when the very first teaser for spiderverse 2 said it was gonna have toku spidey and then he wasn't in the movie whatsoever not even as a background cameo
1. It still has that cal art style for the adult scientists and some of the animals.
2. Its trying really hard to be a 2000s dreamworks film when dreamworks today at least tries to make a spiderverse/peak cinema film half the time.
And don't block me just because of my opinion
i think the first movie that hit like eeaao for you for me was the first spiderverse movie ๐ฅน watched it in 4dx just by coincidence but genuinely โฆ felt like my life had changed i wanted to do something that would impact people the way that movie impacted me ๐ฅน LOLLLL
one of the visual development artists who did art for kpop demon hunters, spiderverse, etc. had a class for color + light and Iโm sad about the pricing ๐
at least I have a skillshare subscription so I might as well take advantage of that then
